A fine, warm impression with extensive plate tone, printed on golden-toned wove. Small margins on three sides, a deeper margin at bottom (clearly trimmed thus by the artist). 211 x 166mm.




Dr. Gachet was Van Gogh’s physician in the south of France during his troubled last weeks. He was a strong supporter of artists and himself an amateur etcher and painter. Goeneutte also painted his portrait.
